Start Stop Continue

Leaning on the Start, Stop, Continue model (at least a little) to establish and eventually accomplish the following:

The goal: “Start 7, Stop 7, Continue 7”
Start 7 new practices or habits I can follow to improve my health, wealth, and wisdom. These will be outside of, or in addition to, the daily action steps I have already identified for reaching other goals experiment.

Stop 7 current practices or habits in an effort to further optimize my health, wealth, and wisdom. I feel like these can go hand-in-hand with the ones I plan to start.

Continue 7 practices or habits I can identify as already contributing to my health, wealth, and wisdom.

The process (update as needed):
1. Identify seven new practices I can adopt and make into habits that will improve my health, wealth, or wisdom. Even better if they help to improve more than one of these at a time.
2. Adopt and habituate.
3. Identify seven current practices (habits) that are keeping me from having optimal health, wealth, or wisdom.
4. Make a plan to replaces these practices (habits) with more effective alternatives.
5. Adopt and habituate.
6. Identify 7 current practices (habits) that are already contributing to my health, wealth, and wisdom.
7. Optimize each of those.

I have Started these new practices (habits):
1. Daily, read one chapter of Proverbs and one chapter of Psalms
2. Daily, practice guitar for 15 minutes, at least

I have Stopped these practices (habits):
1. Daily, stop drinking coffee after 2:00 pm and drink water instead

I am continuing and optimizing these practices (habits):

NOTE: It is not intuitively obvious, but “health” includes physical health, mental health, emotional health, and spiritual health. Likewise, “wealth” includes SO MUCH more than monetary health. It also includes relationship wealth, happiness wealth, contentment wealth, etc. And wisdom…well, that’s wisdom.
