I wanted to have a place to record a little bit about those life moments that I want to make sure we remember. My gut feeling is that having these items here will help provide a lot of context for the rest of life.

2026-07 – Annette and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary and honestly, there were many times I did not think we would be able to do that. It’s been a rough year, but we’ve turned a lot of things around and our relationship is in a much better place.

2026-07 – Cate moved to Boston to really start her adult life. Annette road-tripped with her there, with stops at Missy’s and Katie’s along the way. They caught a ball game at Fenway. Annette flew back home.

2026-07 – I had to travel to New Hampshire for work semi-urgently and had to formulate many strategies to ensure the travel did not create too many obstacles right at the very beginning of my 777-day experiment.

2026-07-26 – Had the day off from the site emergency and was able to spend most of the day with Cate, starting with lunch at Seafood Sam’s on Cape Cod. Then driving back into the city to walk around Boston Harbor and enjoy the time together. Dinner at an Irish pub in the downtownish area to wrap up the day. I miss our daughter.
